LEADERS Penparcau kept their noses in front after overcoming a plucky Caersws Reserves.

Penparcau tested the visiting defence early on, with Andrew Caree and Jon Foligno going close.

Veteran Caree broke the deadlock on 25 minutes after a fumble by goalkeeper Kris Williams.

However Caersws were level on half-time with Tom Lapworth seizing on a loose ball.

The Bluebirds proceeded to hold their own, but with 20 minutes remaining Caree linked with Anthony Tedaldi who restored their lead.

Neil Evans added a flattering third with five minutes remaining, as Penparcau stayed top of the table.
