CARNO remain in the title race after punishing their 10 man visitors, Tywyn Bryncrug, at Ty Brith.

Peter Rees superbly brought down Tom Richards' left wing cross, before slotting past stand-in goalkeeper Arwyn Davies.

Carno's second on the stroke of half-time was a contender for goal of the season, with Rob Bennett finding Danny Pierce, who unleashed an unstoppable 30 yard shot into the roof of the net.

Tywyn's rare off-day was compounded when influential defender Paul Grant saw red after throwing an elbow at Bennett.

Mark Edmonson brought a rare save from home goalkeeper Chris Brown, before Carno wrapped up victory through Rees who seized upon a fumble by Davies.
