Promotion contenders Rhyl and District hit hosts Southport for six to reinforce their accelerating push for a top two finish.
Boosted by their stunning 5-2 victory over leaders City of Manchester the previous week, rampant Rhyl made it eleven back-to-back goals by flooring the overrun seasiders 6-0 in commanding style.
Despite being without key goal-getter Andrew Pierce, Rhyl created a host of chances and romped into a 4-0 lead before the game was half over. Christian Nicholson, who missed the Manchester game, signalled his return with a goal after Wayne Ricketts and man-of-the-match Chris Hardy had paved the way with earlier scoring strikes.
Versatile Adam Judge, switching to attack in place of Pierce, again got on the scoresheet before Rhyl underlined their supremacy with second half goals from impressive Hardy again and Keiron Minton. Buoyant Rhyl will be aiming for a hat-trick when they entertain Sefton at St Asaph this Saturday.
