MELIDEN of Division One caused an upset when they won 3-1 after extra time at Premier Division high-fliers Penmaenmawr Phoenix in ths second round of the Mackenzie Jones Clwyd League Presidents Cup.
Peter Williams equalised for Pen after Andy Jones had given Meliden a 24th minute lead, but there was no further scoring until the added half-hour when Peter Evans and Chris Owen booked the underdogs' passage into round three.
