PTS are aiming to mount a strong challenge at the top of the Rhyl Sunday 6-a-side Leisure League, as they romped home to a huge 12-0 rout of Inter Rhylan this week.

Mike Livesey and Kyle Molineux grabbed stunning hat-tricks in the win, whilst Lloyd Beattie (2) and Adam Williams were also among the scorers.

Blues and Two’s were indebted to braces from both Rhys Evans and Sam Williams, in their 6-0 drubbing of Corbett Sports. Martin James and Mike Wheeldon also got on the scoresheet and with strikes from Chez Johns and Mike Jones they ensured Afon Goch Rovers protected their 100 per cent record in a 2-1 victory against The Goers. Richard Bellis picked scored a consolation.

Roe 9 remained top of the Monday Premier Division with their 3-2 victory over Rhyl Rockets, as Steve Bowen, Paul Morris and Adam Williams all chipped in with goals. Gaz Crossley and Tom Williams were on target for Rockets.

Pen Y Ffordd are only four points shy of the summit despite being fifth in the table, as a double-strike from Phil Parry and Jake Hargreaves also netted in a 3-0 success over JBS.com.

AFK Mini Oven are hoping to climb the Division One table as John Hughes bagged both goals in their 2-0 win over Odds and Sodds.

Meliden Stars put the drama of the earlier floodlight failure to one side, as they calmly saw off the challenge of Rhyl Raiders, 3-1, despite the best efforts of Mike Colley, to remain top of the Thursday 6-a-side league.

West End FC kept up the pressure and did so in some style, smashing nine past bottom and pointless side Prestatyn Celtic, who could only reply with two.

Jack Gibbons was influential in the manor of victory, as he tore into the Celtic defence, picking up the man of the match award in the process.

Frank The Tank are just two points off the top, as they edged past Dyswich Rovers 2-0, Tom Williams bagging a brace.

Elsewhere,1 2 Go are still in touch with the leaders as they battled to a 3-2 defeat of Baz United, with Bobby Hall unlucky to be on the losing side. Rhyl Madrid and AC Rhylan couldn’t break the stalemate as they played out a score draw. The latter had Connor Shute to thank, pulling of a string of fine save to keep the Madrid frontline out.
