FANS of music from the 60s will be able to enjoy the legendary music first hand when The Magic of the Beatles concert comes to Rhyl.

A Spring tour of this all new production celebrating 50 years of the Fab Four has been announced with the Pavilion Theatre amongst the venues.

“The Magic of the Beatles is a two-hour spectacular featuring superb costumes and a cast of skilled musicians and singers,” said show producer Michael Taylor.
“It authentically recreates the live concert shows of John, Paul, George and Ringo that generated fan hysteria never seen before or since.”

The production embarks on a UK-wide tour in 2010 and visits towns and even, in some cases, venues that presented The Beatles during the early Sixties.

The Magic of the Beatles retraces The Beatles infamous live shows and offers an insight into Beatlemania at its height; promising to take audiences from The Beatles’ Mop Top roots to the psychedelia of Sgt Pepper and beyond.

“The Magic of the Beatles is the band’s greatest, best-loved hits performed live – from Love Me Do to Let it Be,” said Michael. “It’s the most authentic Beatles show to take to the road, even down to original guitars and amps used by the band.”

Unarguably one of the greatest bands in the world, ever, the cast choose from a set list comprising of more than 50 million-selling hits for each show.

Who could have imagined just what was to come when the world was introduced to The Beatles in 1960? Transferring their incredible live shows from residencies in Hamburg to the now-famous Cavern Club, they were eventually discovered by Brian Epstein and signed by George Martin. The rest is the most important chapter of pop music history.

Michael added: “All you need is the Magic of the Beatles to celebrate 50 years of the most famous band in the world."
