RHYL’s match against Airbus UK Broughton on Saturday has been postponed, along with Prestatyn Town's trip to Haverfordwest County.

The Rhyl match was called off after a pitch inspection on Friday morning, with the club having announced yesterday (Thursday) the pitch was frozen and there were concerns about the Belle Vue car park being covered in ice and snow.

No new date has been announced for the fixture, with Rhyl next scheduled to be in action at Port Talbot Town next Saturday. Rhyl reserves scheduled clash at Flint Town United tonight has also been postponed.

The entire Welsh Premier League programme on Saturday has been wiped out, with Prestatyn learning at lunchtime they would not be visiting Haverfordwest. The home side had initially expressed hopes about the match surviving the big freeze but it joined the endless list of postponements across Britain.
