SHOWBIZ wannabees will be trying to perform their way to a job at a Prestatyn holiday camp.

Presthaven Sands is one of three Haven camps in North Wales with 15 jobs on offer with contestants attending the open H-Factor auditions at football stadiums across Britain this month.

Simon Daniels, Haven’s entertainment supremo, will be judging who has the talent to make it.

He said: “We attract hundreds of hopefuls looking for a break in showbiz but with so many excellent jobs on offer we are more Yes-Factor than X-Factor.”

During the 2010 season Haven will employ more than 350 FunStar singers, dancers and presenters at its 35 holiday parks throughout the country, including about 20 at the company's three holiday parks in Wales.

The business is also looking for about 20 star singers to perform their own cabaret spots.

The audtions are being held at the football stadiums of Newcastle United on January 11 and 12, Manchester United on January 13 and 14, Birmingham City on January 15 and 16, Norwich City on January 17 and 18, Reading on January 20 and Bristol City on January 21. All start at 9am.
