VISITORS to Bala will notice a glow on the horizon this Christmas... and it isn’t the Bethlehem star!
The brightly decorated festive home of Gareth Edwards, from Edwards Electrical in Rhyd Uchaf, near Bala, can be seen for miles around.
Mr Edwards has decorated his home from top to bottom with a display he claims to be the ‘best in North Wales’.
“I have decorated for a few years now, this is my job isn’t it, only I don’t have to pay for the labour, I do it all myself,” said Mr Edwards.
Bala photographer Evan Dobson added: “Gareth has been making these Christmas Lights displays for several years and they seem to get bigger and better each year.
“He even has a Santa Grotto on site and he is there each evening from 4pm onwards.
“There are so many lights one photograph cannot show them all because there are so many of them.”
A spokesman for the National Grid was unavailable for comment as all Grid staff are busy watching a major continuing power surge in Bala!
