Fight the fat this Christmas

IT WILL take more than 19 hours of arguing with family members to burn off the calories in your Christmas dinner according to new research.

With the impending family reunion approaching, Men's Health magazine have calculated it will take 19 hours and 28 minutes disagreeing with your next of kin to work off the 3,122 calories in your main festive meal.

This revelation, and many more, are included in the publication's list of 101 Ways to Burn Off Christmas Dinner, which includes a list of the expected - and rather unexpected - ways to get in shape.

Men’s Health Editor Morgan Rees said: “A turkey dinner with all the trimmings is an essential part of Christmas. But we don't believe it has to torpedo our readers' health and fitness goals, which is why we came up with these 101 simple ways to burn off the most lavish feast. With these tips UK men can enjoy the festivities with a clear conscience."
