A YOUNG woman was transferred to hospital after falling and injuring her leg.
This was on the coastal path near to Porth Dafarch Beach on Anglesey.
Rhosneigr Coastguard Rescue Team and Holyhead Coastguard Rescue Team were alerted by Holyhead MRCC.
A spokesperson from Rhosneigr Coastguard Rescue Team said: "Upon teams arrival, casualty care was administered, her leg injury was carefully stabilised, regular observations were carried out whilst our casualty was kept warm and reassured by team members prior to requesting assistance from Coastguard Rescue 936 helicopter who shortly arrived and landed on scene.
"After further treatment from the Rescue 936 paramedic, our casualty was stretchered by both teams to the helicopter for transfer to Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital in Bangor for further care and treatment.
"Wishing our casualty a speedy recovery."
