AN AMUSEMENT park in Towyn is to offer free entry for Abergele school children for one night only later this week.

On April 26 from 6pm, children from Ysgol Glan Morfa, Ysgol Sant Elfod and Ysgol Glan Gele will have the opportunity to experience Knightly's Fun Park, on Sandbank Road free of charge.

Details regarding the event, including wristband distribution, will be communicated directly to the schools.

Each student will receive a complimentary wristband, granting unlimited access to rides within the park.

Luke Knightly, a town councillor and owner of Knightly’s Fun Park, said he hopes the move reflects his and the park’s commitment to supporting the community.

He said: "It's important to support each other in the difficult times that we currently live in.

“I am thrilled to have been able to offer the free access to local children, who may otherwise miss out on such experiences.”
