THE LATEST General Election poll suggests widespread change across North Wales.
A YouGov poll collected data from 14,110 respondents from December 12 to January 4, asking them ‘If there were a general election held tomorrow, which party would you vote for?’.
The results suggested Keir Starmer entering Downing Street with a 120-seat majority, with Labour winning 385 Commons seats.
This would be a 183-seat increase for the party since the last election.

A Labour and Plaid Cymru landslide could be seen in North Wales, with Conservative seats in Aberconwy and the Vale of Clwyd becoming Labour.
YouGov stated that the results were “reminiscent” of the 1997 General Election outcome, when Tony Blair became Prime Minister.
In the Vale of Clwyd, a seat which will be abolished (with its wards to be split between Clwyd East and Clwyd North), 45 and 43 per cent of respondents in the respective new constituencies voted labour.
The Vale of Clwyd seat is currently held by Conservative MP Dr James Davies.
Dr Davies was approached for comment.
