A BAND from Rhyl have released their second single as they put together their debut album.

Electric Sheep Inc.’s new single, ‘The Queens Nose’, is the culmination of the hard work of four friends from Rhyl.

The band is made up of lead singer Christian Pimley, guitarist Cameron Kelly, drummer Gez Jones and bassist Josh Jones, who recorded the new song at DiRT Music recording studio in Kinmel Bay with the help of producer and songwriter Daniel Taylor.

After the release of debut single ‘Taste Of It’ some months ago, their latest release comes ahead of their first album.

The band was founded by Pimley, Kelly, “cameo star” Adam ‘Titch’ Taylor and “the man with the vision”, Jordan Clarke.

Inspired by the music they listened to in their youth, and after “endless jams and writing sessions”, their music aims to capture the essence of their “infamous and one off” hometown of Rhyl.

The group was soon joined by bassist Jones, a close friend who had formerly fronted Ginellis, Jack-knifed Caravans and The Dirty Sweet Sound.

Drummer Gez, who was also in Jack-knifed Caravans, as well as Ethergy and Annunaki, joined soon afterwards.

Now a fourpiece band, Electric Sheep Inc. hope to create music that can “resonate through a crowded run down seaside dive bar and make em’ dance”.

Producer Daniel Taylor told the Journal: “This band are an absolute pleasure to work with.

“They are clearly great songwriters and have a great attitude towards their music and life in general.

“I love working with these lads and look forward to working through their first debut album with them.”

The Queens Nose is available to listen to on Spotify and YouTube.
