NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six businesses in the Rhyl and Prestatyn area, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The food hygiene rating scheme gives businesses in England and Wales a rating of 0-5, 5 being the highest, based on their hygiene standards.
The scheme is run in partnership with local authorities and in Wales businesses are obligated to display their rating.
The following businesses were rated:
- Rated 4: Royal Victoria, at Sandy Lane, Prestatyn; rated on October 19
- Rated 4: Batch Ice Cream, at Marina Quay Retail Park, Wellington Road, Rhyl; rated on October 4
- Rated 4: Bailey's Coffee Shop, at Electric House, High Street, Rhuddlan, Rhyl; rated on September 26
- Rated 3: TU Mundo at 70 High Street, Prestatyn; rated on September 26
- Rated 2: The Submariner Cookhouse & Pub, at 21-26 West Parade, Rhyl; rated on October 11
- Rated 2: Chopstix, at 13-15 High Street, Rhyl; rated on October 10
