The Denbigh and Flint Show and Food Festival held today has broken records and captivated attendees with its impressive numbers and diverse program.

With a staggering 912 horse entries, including a record-breaking 35 heavy horses, the equine section showcased the beauty and strength of these magnificent creatures.

In the cattle tent, 100 entries filled the space, while the fur and feather section boasted an excellent turnout.

But it wasn't just the livestock and equine sections that attracted attention.

The vintage section delighted visitors with over 100 displays, including a celebration of 75 years of Land Rover, 75 years of Nuffield universal, and 90 years of Fordson N Dagenham.

Among them was Ian Jolley, from Mold, with his van from 1967.

The phone in the back of the vehicle was used on the TV show The Hello Girls.

There were also state-of-art vehicles, including the electric tractor Denbighshire Council uses at its tree nursery at Green Gates Farm in St Asaph.

The Showground offered a packed program that catered to all members of the family.

Attendees were treated to thrilling performances by the Stannage Stunt Team, a captivating display of skill and agility.

The Shetland Pony Grand National added a touch of charm and excitement, while the Inter Hunt Relay and the Grand Parade showcased the rich equestrian tradition.

This year, the show introduced a new Countryside area that featured exciting demonstrations, such as a husky show, metal detectors, working dogs, and Search & Rescue.

The day also included beloved attractions like the food festival, dog show, shearing, livestock exhibits, light horse show, and show jumping.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore countless trade stands, offering a wide array of products and services.
