A COMMUNITY fun day will be held at a rugby club in Rhyl later this week, with plenty for families to get involved in.

The fun day takes place at Rhyl & District RFC’s clubhouse on Saturday, 12 August

Activities include a silent disco, inflatable bungee course, bouncy castles, an obstacle course and a treasure hunt, with all funds raised going to support the club’s junior ranks.

Stands for North Wales Police, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the RNLI will also attend, giving children a chance to find out more about what they do.

The event starts at 12pm and finishes at 5pm, with entry £5 per child, but free for those under the age of three.

Following the event, the Wales-England rugby union test match will be shown in the club’s function room.

The rugby club said: “Bring your family and friends to enjoy a fun-filled day together and also enjoy the Wales v England match at 17:30 in our function room. It's a perfect day out for everyone!”
