It is understood the closure is related to Bodafon Farm not being able to renew their lease with Mostyn Estates but this has not been confirmed.

Bodafon Farm is a working farm and is home to The Owls Trust. Visitors can hand feed goats, deer and llama, enjoy tractor and trailer rides or drive round on mini tractors.

The site caters for weddings, children's birthday parties, and other occasions.

Liana Moorst wrote: "So sorry to hear it’s your final year. We love coming up and will make sure we’re up lots this year. Beautiful setting and worth a visit for the food alone! Very sad news."

One user asked "what will happen to the animals?"

Bodafon Farm Park replied to the comment: "We will 100 per cent be finding suitable homes for all the animals."

Janet Finch-Saunders, MS for Aberconwy, said: “I have known Mark Roberts and his family for many years. They have provided an exceptional all-weather attraction that has been enjoyed by locals and visitors for decades.

“The farm has a special place in my heart. I used to take my children there, and more recently been a regular for food.

“It is unfortunate if the lease is coming to an end. If that is the case, and Mostyn Estate whish for a new direction, I would hope that there will be engagement with the community because the fields and the farm are loved by so many of us.

“Going forwards, I would like to wish Mark and his family all the best at the Penrhyn Arms, Penrhyn Side, where all can enjoy delicious local food and drink in a fabulous setting”.

Mostyn Estates said they were not prepared to comment at this time.
