Police have been granted a warrant of further detention to interview four men who are being questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and possession of a firearm.
Officers have been given a further 36 hours by the court to question the men, who were
arrested on Monday when a vehicle was forcibly stopped in an operation that followed an incident on Rhyl High Street earlier in the day.
DI Chris Bell said: “I would like to reassure the public that we have a team of dedicated
specialist officers diligently working on this. Whilst the investigation is continuing, we are grateful to the public for their support and patience.”
