SUPERFAST 4G mobile broadband has been switched on in Prestatyn.

EE, the UK’s largest mobile operator, became the first network in the UK to switch on the 4G broadband in Prestatyn.

Chris Ruane, MP for Vale of Clwyd, said: “It’s excellent news that EE’s 4G service has arrived in Prestatyn.

"Having access to the latest generation of mobile technology ensures that Prestatyn is an even more desirable place to reside and do business.

"It is great to see this additional investment being made by EE within the Vale of Clwyd as Rhyl also recently benefited from an upgrade to its mobile technology.

“I’m sure residents and businesses are looking forward to the benefits this will bring.”

4G from EE is widely available in and around Prestatyn, including Rhyl, Chester, Liverpool and Abergele.

Wayne Thorley, Regional Manager for North Wales, said: “The launch of 4GEE services in Prestatyn is a big plus for local businesses and residents, who can now enjoy the benefits of faster mobile internet and do more on the move.

"We’re continuing to launch a range of new innovative plans and services for all the latest devices, designed to transform the way our customers interact with their mobiles.”
