Toy Story bouncy castle stolen from Prestatyn

A TOY Story themed Bouncy Castle was stolen from Prestatyn over the weekend.

The castle was taken from Little Rascals Nursery on Victoria Road.

Nursery owner and manager, Karen Stephenson, said: “The Toy Story 3 bouncy castle was bought with funds raised by children and staff at our Summer Fair and cake sales. We have had it for about 4 years.

"The children are really upset about it but we are trying to take the positives out of it - talking about the 'People who help us' such as the Police and what they are doing to try to find it. It is very noticeable by the huge Woody and Buzz figures on the front sides. We are currently raising money towards a local fund so will have to put replacing it on hold for the time being.”

The castle, which cost around £800, was taken from an outdoor storage area.
Karen added: “Whoever has taken it would have had to be fairly strong as our enclosed garden is locked at all times and they would have had to lift it a considerable height to just get it over the fence or gate.”

A set of Toy Story costumes, which included Woody, Buzz, Jessie and Bullseye, were stolen from North Wales Party Animals from an address in Rhyl one month ago.

A police spokesperson for the Police said: “We Received a call on May 18 at 11.38 am to say a bouncy castle had been taken from an address in Victoria Road, Prestatyn. The castle was stored in a bag and is 14 foot by 15 foot when inflated.”

If anyone has any information regarding the incicdent you can contact Prestatyn police on 101 quoting R073629
