APPEAL: Police appeal for witnesses to car damage in Rhyl

POLICE in Rhyl are appealing for information and witnesses after a car was damaged last Wednesday.

At around 12.20pm on Wednesday, May 14, a motorists parked his blue coloured Honda Civic on Queen Street, Rhyl, near to the Nat West Bank, and as he moved off a cyclist is believed to have rode off the pavement and in front of the car.

The cyclist is then believed to have punched the bonnet of the car, causing a large dent and was also verbally abusive.

PC 2576 John Evans is investigating the incident. He said: “The area was very busy at the time and therefore it’s very possible that it was witnessed by a number of people. I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, witnessed the incident or has information to please get in touch with me or my colleagues at Rhyl police station.”
