Abergele motorcyclist killed after crash near Corwen

AN ABERGELE motorcyclist has been killed after a collision with a car on Saturday.

Andrew Anderton, aged 53 of Abergele, died following the collision on the A5104 Bryneglwys, Corwen, just before 2pm.

Mr Anderton was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car and the passenger are believed to have sustained minor injuries and were taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Chief Inspector Darren Wareing said: “Police investigations are underway and we are appealing to anyone who was travelling along the A5104 prior to the collision or anyone who may have information to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101.”
