THIEVES have forced their way into a summer house in the garden of a St Asaph home and stolen a television.

North Wales Police are asking for the public’s assistance following the burglary in the Mount Road area between March 8 and March 9.

Investigating officer PC Alexandra Smith said: “Thieves forced their way into the summer house in the garden of a residential property and stole a 42” flat screen LG LCD TV.

“Offenders forced their way into the ‘summer house’ and removed the large television.

"I would like to hear from anyone who was in the city centre area of St Asaph particularly during the early hours of Saturday, March 9 and may have seen any suspicious activity or knows who was responsible for this break-in.

"If anyone has any information about this burglary I’d ask they come forward and contact North Wales Police.

"It is also worth reminding members of the community to be vigilant at all times, ensure your property is locked and secured and if they see any suspicious behaviour to let us know immediately.”

Anyone who has any information should contact PC Smith on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote reference RC13036399.
