FIREFIGHTERS were called to help rescue a five-year-old boy whose leg became stuck between two trees in Bala.
Rescuers were sent to Cysgod y Coleg shortly after midday today (Saturday) to help free the youngster who had been climbing.
A spokeswoman for North Wales Fire and Rescue said: "We received the call at 12.07pm. We sent one engine from Bala.
"No cutting equipment was used. We pulled the tree apart to release the boy.
"There were no injuries.The boy didn't need medical attention."
