PRESTATYN Town manager Neil Gibson wasted no time in reinforcing his squad with four signings since his sensational return to the club.

The legendary Seasiders’ figure announced his return last week and has brought in some talented young players in a bid to improve their Huws Gray Alliance fortunes this term.

Alec Williams re-joins the club from JD Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town, with the talented midfielder playing a part in Town’s second tier title victory in 2016 and their subsequent relegation from the top flight.

Another to make the move back to the Motion Finance Stadium is striker Oli Buckley, who signs from nearby rivals Rhyl after finding chances limited for the Lilywhites this season.

Versatile defender Danny Davies has been given his chance to prove himself at a higher standard after joining from Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two side Meliden, with the youngster having worked with Gibson before during his time with the Seasiders’ Academy.

Rounding off the new arrivals is Warren Adam, who was also part of their HGA title winning squad and has signed from Conwy Borough.

Gibson, said: “Alec is someone with a wealth of experience at Cymru Alliance and Welsh Premier League level.

“He’s played for me for a number of years, and undoubtedly has the pace and ability to play in a number of positions that will enhance the squad.

“Warren is also someone who’s played for me in the last three seasons. He was a vital cog in the squad with his infectious attitude and obvious leadership qualities. He will be a real asset to the squad going forward.

“All four are lads that I’ve worked with in the past, and crucially they know the standard I set and what I expect from my players.”
