If you have ever 'wanted' to see a pantomime then Venue Cymru's Cinderella is a must see.

You'll be 'glad you came', oh yes you will, as The Wanted singer Tom Parker leads a stellar cast in this year's panto in Llandudno.

The main characters were in Llandudno last week for the launch of Venue Cymru's 2018 panto, Cinderella.

Parker will star as Prince Charming alongside, Natalie Winsor (Fairy Godmother), Carly Burns (Cinderella) and Llandudno's very own Christ Bewsher (Dandini).

While rehearsals are yet to begin, the quartet said they are very excited about coming to Llandudno for this year's pantomime.

Parker will be returning to Venue Cymru for the second time in as many years having starred as Danny Zuko in the classic Grease last year.

He said he is expecting this role to be much different but was looking forward to the audience participation which he was used to from his days with The Wanted.

Parker, speaking to the Pioneer, said: "I feel like this is going to be really different. Even though I'm playing a storyline here the audience participation is going to be really nice. In Grease you kind of block the audience out.

"So it'll be nice to have the interaction, I had that when I was with the band so it'll be quite nice to feel that audience participation again."

He said audiences can expect the "classic" fairytale that families have come to know and love, but with a slight comical twist added in.

Parker said: "It's a classic story, a classic fairytale - Cinderella. You are going to get the classic fairytale but the comedy side of it is going to be great."

"The whole things going to be cool."
