AN AUSSIE invasion is set to rock Rhyl next month.

Melbourne rocker Jimmy Maddon is en-route to Rhyl for the final stop of his six show ' Who the Bloody Hell is Jimmy Maddon?' tour at the Pot on the High Street in September.

Leather clad punk meets glam and prog as the singer songwriter rocks every inch of the stage with his upbeat and powerfully lyrical music and towering on stage persona.

Having begun his career building his way up the open mic circuit of Melbourne, Maddon has managed to progress to Sydney and Canberra with two packed out showing in both cities in 2015.

Late that year, Maddon was offered to go on tour in Indonesia for two and a half weeks as part of his The Crime Of The Century Tour, playing nine sold out shows across East Java and firmly establishing a international fan base.

Now setting his sights on the UK, the self styled 'saviour of rock and roll' will masterfully present a highly theatrical, dazzling and captivating live show experience that encapsulates the best parts of classic rock from every decade.

Maintaining the solid rock celebration are the legendary Welsh alternative band Rabo de Toro, back to the live scene and in the faces of Rhyl music lovers with their trademark brand of aggressive, sardonic rock.

Joining the Welsh and Aussie rockers are Chester based garage rock four-piece Brazen Swagger, returning to Rhyl after earning a warm welcome for their thundering part-punk, part-blues style.

For a chance to join the boys of Rabo de Toro to welcome the Australian and English ambassadors of underground rock to North Wales, head to The Pot on Saturday, September 22 at 8pm.

Admission is £2, payable on the door.
