A SHOPLIFTER described as "not very good at shoplifting" by his solicitor has been jailed.
Gareth Sandford, 26, stole razor blades worth £102 from Morrisons at Rhyl.
He pleaded guilty to the theft at Llandudno court and magistrates activated a previous 90-day sentence for shoplifting, and an additional 30 days was imposed - making 120 days in all.
Sandford, of Meredith Crescent, Rhyl, must pay £200 costs.
His solicitor Andrew Hutchinson said Sandford had a heroin habit but was now on a daily script of Methadone.
"He's someone not very good at shoplifting, he's known at all the stores," added Mr Hutchinson.
Mel Hughes, prosecuting, said the suspended term had been imposed on June 25. The latest theft was on Saturday and he dropped the blades when running out of the store.
