RESIDENTS were delighted to get up and close with baby rabbits and goats.

Bradshaw Manor Care Home, Rhyl, had a visit from Manorafon Farm Park in Abergele.

Fun on the farm was brought to the home and an afternoon of stroking and cuddling baby rabbits and goats was enjoyed.

Manorafon Farm Park worker Lizzie took the animals around the residents one by one for them to hold and stroke.

Shelley Macdonald, activities coordinator at the care home, said: "It was amazing to see the resident's face light up when they got to hold and stroke the baby animals.

"Pets and animals can be great therapy and the animals also brought back amazing memories from our residents who were brought up on a farm."

The farm has an array of small and large farm animals.

Last month, the farm's skinny pig - an almost hairless breed of Guinea pig - gave birth to two little girls.
