Thousands of foodies gathered in the baking heat at Bodelwyddan Castle to sample a selection of some of the finest cuisine from across the UK.
Wales’ first ever Great British Food Festival featured demonstrations by 2015 Great British Bake Off contestant Sandy 'D Bakes' Docherty, live music, and of course, food stalls.
Lorraine Lister, marketing manager at Bodelwyddan Castle, said: “It was absolutely fantastic.
"It is a very prestigious and unique event for us here. It really brought a whole new dynamic to the place.
“The range was very impressive too, from exclusive eateries to Asian street food and local produce.”
The two-day event last weekend introduced the food festival to Wales for the first time, with the nearest previously held at Arley Hall in Northwich, Cheshire.
The event also catered for children, with circus workshops, an activity zone, treasure hunt and craft activities.
“The Sunday was particularly busy," said Lorraine. "The weather was absolutely gorgeous and with the setting. It was absolutely fantastic.
“It was really popular with families, which was a little surprising, so maybe next time we might put more emphasis on the whole family and we very much hope the festival returns.”
