PUPILS from a Rhyl school have beat off stiff competition to claim the G2G Lego crown.
For the contest, Ysgol Llywelyn pupils - Eve Cox, Joey Harris and Theo Parry designed, built and programmed their own robot using Lego.
A spokesperson from the school said: "They clearly enjoyed the experience. They children told us that they were happy to learn new skills, like coding and team work and that winning gave them something to be proud of."
Moira Lockitt, from G2G Communities CIC, said: "We were delighted to give the pupils the opportunity to take part in the All Systems Go project funded by the Welsh Goverment and National Science Academy.
"Eight primary schools took part in the competition and it is hoped that it boosted their aspirations for the future in technology."
