THIS week’s image of the week depicts 'A picturesque sunrise over the coast' at Rhyl.
It was taken as part of a #LoveRhyl tourism project by Raymond Worsnop (inset), who has been selected alongside nine other amateur photographers as a Rhyl Instagram champion.
Each week, the Journal features the work of one of the champions.
Raymond says: "I have lived in Rhyl since 2001. My interest in photography was purely accidental.
"Having broken my leg and being housebound, I started to take pictures of Rhyl storms and sunsets from my window.
"Many of my Rhyl prints have been bought by the White Rose Centre and are on display all the way down the central mall.
"I was also commissioned me to produce shots of Rhyl for two restaurants, and I have also produced work for Rhyl in Bloom.
"As a resident of Rhyl, I am very proud of our town and always promote the beauty of our town and beach on social media and across the world."
