Grab your didgeridoos, flip flops, eskis because Rhuddlan band Busk till Dawn are holding an Australian themed party to launch their debut album.

Band Members Martyn Ellis (guitar), Kyle Jones (bass) and Josh Parry (cajon) will be throwing another shrimp on the barbie at the North, Rhyl, this Friday as they celebrate the release of their first ever album after months in the studio.

Martyn said: "We can't wait to release the album and share it with everybody. We have worked so hard over the past five months in Fastrax studios to get all the songs recorded and we couldn't be happier with the support we have had from our fans.

"The album launch party is going to be something special and we are going to make it a night to remember."

The guys have spent the past few years travelling the world sharing their music with people in Europe, Australia, Mexico and Canada.

Now they are home, they have had time to hit the studio and share their experience with everyone through the music on the album.

Martyn said: "The album talks of our adventures around the world and also has songs that are intended to inspire others to travel and make the most out of life."

They made time for the recent Rhuddfest as well performing alongside the likes of Newton Faulkner.

The release party will include a BBQ, beer pong, pool inflatables and a guy playing the Indigenous Australian instrument the didgeridoo and will kick off at 7pm.

Former North Wales resident, who now calls Australia home, Daryl James will also be performing on the night as a support act for Busk till Dawn.

Once the album has been launched the band will look at hitting the road again.

Martyn said: "Once the album is released we will be planning a UK tour and possibly more ventures abroad to where we found our inspiration.

"We are hoping to get in touch with as many local festivals as we can over the summer months to grow our following and generally have a great summer of music and good vibes."
