A YELLOW warning for rain has been issued ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
Following beautiful weather during the royal wedding last Saturday, Conwy and Denbighshire are set again to have sunshine - but also will be blighted by rain and thunderstorms.
According to the Met office, heavy showers and thunderstorms will affect parts of Wales this weekend. The warning is in force from 6am on Saturday until midnight on Sunday.
Temperatures tomorrow across Rhyl and Conwy are set to reach highs of 22 degrees and 24 degrees on Sunday, with lows of 14 degrees.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Very warm and humid conditions will lead to thunderstorms developing across parts of Southern England, the South and West Midlands and Wales on both Saturday and Sunday.
"Thunderstorms will produce torrential rain and hail in places with up to 30 mm falling in an hour, while some places may miss the worst of the heavy rain."
