IT’S A GOOD job Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding isn’t today as they would have ran the risk of being upstaged!

Little ones at Ysgol Y Foryd Towyn Infants School staged their very own royal wedding on Friday morning at Kinmel Bay Church.

It may not have been in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, but there was a church, a real vicar and a mini Harry and Meghan!

The mock royal wedding was hosted to commemorate the marriage of Meghan Markle to Prince Harry.

The service was led by Pastor Ben.

Unfortunately there was some drama as Prince Harry (Jack Brown) didn't want to 'kiss' bride Meghan (Ava-Mae Holt).

The couple didn't fancy doing a high five or a handshake either!

Mother of the bride Ella Holt said: "We were a bit worried this morning as she said to me 'but I don't love him!' She is six and he is younger than her.

"She had her hair done this morning and she said she was nervous.

"She was excited about the limo, the dress and her shoes. She felt like a barbie princess.

"In the last few days she has asked me to call her Meghan. She got into character."

Nicola Rowlands, acting headteacher at Ysgol Y Foryd, added: "It has been absolutely amazing. Those with 100 per cent attendance got the parts.

"It has taken six weeks to prepare and there has been so many people involved and many kind donations.

"The whole school were bursting with excitement. As soon as everyone arrived, all the nerves were gone."

The morning finished with a cake cutting.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding will take place on Saturday at 12-noon.
