A BRIGHT blue cloudless sky is the main feature of this week's picture of the week.
The calming sight was taken by John Knight at Rhyl harbour as part of a #LoveRhyl tourism project.
John has been selected alongside nine other amateur photographers as a Rhyl Instagram champion. Each week, the Journal features the work of one of the champions.
"I have always loved Rhyl, having spent most of my childhood holidays here at the fairground or the beach," John said.
"During school holidays I actually worked for two summers on the 'gaff' (fairground!) and three seasons as a waiter at Prestatyn holiday camp.
"Having spent all of my working life in the midlands I chose to retire to sunny Rhyl in 2014. I am constantly delighted to be living beside the sea - the weather, the beach, the tides, the sky, the winds - every day is different."
