PHOTOGRAPHS showing the beauty of the sun rising and setting continue to be popular.
This week's picture of the week was snapped at 6.30am one morning by Raymond Worsnop as part of a #LoveRhyl tourism project.
Raymond has been selected alongside nine other amateur photographers as a Rhyl Instagram champion. Each week, the Journal features the work of one of the champions.
Ray said: "I have lived in Rhyl since 2001. My interest in photography was purely accidental. Having broken my leg and being house bound, I started to take pictures of Rhyl storms and sunsets from my window.
"Many of my Rhyl prints have been bought by the White Rose Centre and are on display all the way down the Central Mall.
"I was also commissioned me to produce shots of Rhyl for two restaurants, and I have also produced work for Rhyl in Bloom.
"As a resident of Rhyl, I am very proud of our town and always promote the beauty of our town and beach on social media and across the world."
