THIS week's image of the week has been taken from Rhyl harbour.
The shot of the sky tower - which has undergone a complete makeover and has been transformed into a static light beacon - was snapped by John Knight, Rhyl Instagram champion.
Nine amateur photographers have been chosen as Instagram champions as part of a #LoveRhyl tourism project.
Each week, the Journal features the work of one of the photographers.
Mr Knight said: "I have always loved Rhyl, having spent most of my childhood holidays here at the fairground or the beach. During school holidays, I actually worked for two summers on the 'gaff' (fairground) and three seasons as a waiter at Prestatyn holiday camp.
"Having spent all of my working life in the Midlands, I chose to retire to sunny Rhyl in 2014.
"I am constantly delighted to be living beside the sea - the weather, the beach, the tides, the sky, the winds. Every day is different."
