PRESTATYN Town have bolstered their squad with the signing of promising duo Liam Walsh and Liam Smith.

The Huws Gray Alliance leaders secured the double swoop ahead of their 1-0 win at Holywell Town, with Walsh joining on loan from Wrexham after a brief spell with Rhyl. Town assistant boss Martin Jones, said: “Liam is a top quality player who can play in a number of positions. He will add further depth to the squad and, having been here on loan in 2014, he knows the club and how we operate. "He was in the changing room before the Buckley game and the welcome he got from the players was superb. He is exactly the type of player our manager Neil Gibson is looking for and will integrate very quickly. “We’d like to thank Wrexham Football Club for their help in getting this sorted very quickly." The versatile Smith, 18, is a former Stoke City prospect who joins from Holywell Town. "When we heard that Liam wanted to come to us, we were delighted. We look forward to Liam playing a major part in our season and wish him well,” added Jones.
