DROP everything that you’re doing the Friday before Christmas!
The schedule has been released for the 2016 William Hill World Darts Championship.
Local interest is focussed on next Friday, December 18 as Mark Webster’s tilt at global glory begins.
A double session of action on the Friday will include two-time semi-finalist and former Lakeside winner Webster in the afternoon and 2014 world champion Michael van Gerwen - the world number one - opening his challenge to win back the title.
China’s Qiang Sun and Irish player Mick McGowan will open the session at 1pm, with the winner going forward to take on Denbigh ace Webster during the final match of the afternoon.
