Big Day Out for St Kentigern's and Alzheimer's Society in Rhyl Rugby Club

A BIG charity day out will be held to raise funds for St Kentigern’s and Alzheimer's Society.

The Big Day Out has been arranged in memory of Jimmy Skeffington, from Rhyl, who passed away in October 2013 after suffering with alzheimer's.

The family fun day will include entertainment from Starmarkers Dance troop; Marc Hughes Marial arts academy; Rhyl Carnival queens and Rose buds. There will be singing acts including Rachel Fox; Kinky like Jane; Josh Jones; Jack Lewis Jones and Cameron Kelly and Contagious as well as an ice cream van, face painting, craft stalls, bouncy castle and lots more. The evening concert for adults will include Glenn Mitchell’s Duo Band, The Beat Brothers, Beatles tribute bands The Cavernites and The Beatles Alive, burlesque dancing with chic fitness, a disco and a raffle.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 23 from 12 noon at the Rhyl Rugby Club. Prices are £3 per person or £5 for a family (two adults and two children).
