Masked men flee home empty handed after attempted burglary in Kinmel Bay

TWO masked men have fled empty handed after being disturbed during an attempted burglary in Kinmel Bay.

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after two males broke into the property on Llugwy Road at 11.40pm on Tuesday, August 12.

Once inside they were disturbed by the occupant who woke to the noise and fled empty handed.

Inquiries are continuing, house to house inquiries have been undertaken and detectives are calling on anyone with information to get in touch.

Detective Constable Andy Pendleton said: “I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity and who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously. Both males were wearing masks and one of them is described as being of stocky build, between 5ft 8’ to 6ft tall and is believed to have spoken with a Liverpool accent. I’m asking anyone with information to get in touch with me or my colleagues at St Asaph CID on 101.”
