YSGOL Bryn Elian saw more than 95 per cent of its students gain an A grade in a set of “outstanding” A level results for the school.
Bryn Elian reported its “stunning figures” as students peeled open their envelopes today (Thursday) - with every student gaining some form of qualififcation and more than 37 per cent of Year 13 students picking up an A* or equivalent.
Headteacher Eithne Hughes said: “Bryn Elian students have once again demonstrated that the school successfully provides both academic rigour alongside broader achievements, through an innovative curriculum which embraces academic, vocational and extra-curricular opportunities.
“Congratulations to all our students for their successes in these important examinations.”
Some of the school’s star players this year inlcude Kelly Baldwin and Alec Jones, with five As each; Reuben Hastings, with four As and Lee Patton with two A* and two Bs.
Mr Hughes added: “Once again, we are delighted by the outstanding results achieved by our dedicated and hard working pupils and the continued positive trends over the past few years.”
