PICTURE GALLERY: First Rhyl Beach Fest is big success

RHYL hosted its first-ever beach festival over the weekend as part of a packed weekend of summer fun along the North Wales Coast.
Thousands of people headed to the resort on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy live music, beach fun and even cocktails in the sun.
The weekend featured music from Britain's Got Talent star James Smith, indie rockers The Hoosiers and dance music maestros Kitten and the Hip.
Sports including kite surfing a volleyball took place along with sandcastle sculpture.
