Crowds are expected to flock to the Rhyl Beach Festival

POP rock act The Hoosiers and Britain’s Got Talent star James Smith will perform at a festival on Rhyl promenade next weekend (July 26-27).

The Hoosiers are known for catchy and quirky hits such as Cops and Robbers, Goodbye Mr A and Worried About Ray.

Teenage singer James Smith impressed BGT viewers and judges alike when he performed a rendition of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good, and eventually finished sixth in the live finals.

Meanwhile, the Bloco Swn band will bring the sounds of Brazil to Rhyl on both days.

There will also be international beach volleyball matches, beach tennis, kitesurfing, beach footvolley and sand art displays.

The fun starts at noon each day and entry is free.
