A WOMAN addicted to aerosols has been jailed after admitting a series of shoplifting offences.

In March Natasha Gaskell, aged 29, was given a suspended prison sentence by magistrates in Devon and when she admitted breaching the order last week she was made subject of a community order by Llandudno magistrates.

However, she admitted two further charges of stealing aerosols from shops in Rhyl and asked for yet two more to be taken into consideration.

Nia Dawson, defending, said that Gaskell, of Wellington Road, Rhyl, had been in an abusive relationship and turned to sniffing aerosols in 2009.
“She desperately needs help,” she said.

District Judge Gwyn Jones said that Gaskell was clearly unable to comply with court orders.

He activated the six-week suspended sentence and added another two weeks for the latest offences.
