Police appeal following Rhyl assault

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Rhyl.

Officers were called to an address in Warren Road at 5am on Sunday, June 22, where they found a man in his 30’s with serious injuries.

The victim was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and is in a critical but stable condition.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at a nearby property on suspicion of the assault, and has been released on bail while inquiries continue.

Detective Inspector Sion Williams, of St Asaph CID, said: “Officers have again been in the vicinity today carrying out house to house inquiries as part of our extensive work into the incident.

“While our inquiries continue, I am keen to speak to anyone who has information or who may have been in the Warren Road during early Sunday morning, June 22.”
