Man taken to hospital after Rhyl robbery

A MAN has been left injured after a robbery in Rhyl last night (Thursday).

Just before 10.15pm officers were made aware of a man that was found injured on Grange Road, near the Millbank public house.

The Ambulance Service were informed and the victim, a man in his 30’s was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital having sustained what are believed to be minor injuries.

Police inquiries are looking into the matter and investigating officers believe that the man was the victim of a robbery.

Detective Sergeant Haydn Williams said: “House to house inquiries have been undertaken and our work is continuing.

"I appeal to anyone who has information relating to the incident or who was in the vicinity of Grange Road at before 10.15pm last night and who saw anything or anyone acting suspiciously to please contact us at St Asaph CID on 101 quoting reference number R092550. Alternatively, individuals with information can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
