POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a van was stolen in Rhuddlan.

The incident occurred at 12pm on Thursday, May 29, when the offender entered a white Ford Transit van on Hylas Lane, near Rhuddlan Castle.

They then proceeded to drive the vehicle away from the scene along Abbey Road.

The van has a distinctive blue signature on the side, reading ‘I D Anderson,’ and the registration plate for the vehicle is AF08 0TR.

PC 2533 Catrin Davies said: “House-to-house inquiries were undertaken in the area shortly after the incident happened but I’m keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw the van being driven away.

“I urge anyone who saw anything to please get in touch with me or my colleagues by phoning 101.”

Alternatively, people with information can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
